🔥 Trending now in : flydubai issues travel advice during DXB’s busiest ever month
As Dubai International Airport braces for its busiest month on record, one of the city’s largest airlines has issued travel advice to passengers.
More than 10 million people are expected to travel through DXB in the final month of 2025, with an average of 294,000 every day during December.
DXB-based carrier flydubai has issued travel advice to ensure smooth journeys during the busy travel period.
The airline has advised passengers to arrive at the airport at least four hours before their flight is due to depart to allow for any queues or hold-ups at security.
Those travelling with the emirate’s second-largest airline are able to check in online between 48 hours and 75 minutes before their departure time. Passengers can also opt for home check-ins or use the City Check-in service at the flydubai travel shop in Sharjah.
flydubai passengers have been encouraged to keep their details up to date via the ‘Manage Your Booking’ section on the airline’s website.
The airline has also advised passengers that they can save time at the airport by using self-service kiosks in Terminal 2, where baggage tags can be printed, before proceeding directly to the dedicated bag drop desk.
Passengers have also been encouraged to regularly check the flight information screens for their departure gate to ensure they are at the gate in plenty of time to board their flight.

flydubai’s travel advice follows similar warnings from Emirates and Dubai International Airport.
DXB has asked travellers to properly pack spare batteries and power banks in their hand luggage. This follows recently introduced rules on power banks by all UAE-based airlines.
The airport has also advised visitors to use DXB Express Maps to help them navigate their way with a quick QR code scan and search.
Travellers have also been warned to check the latest regulations for the destination they’re heading to and to make sure all necessary documents are packed ahead of time.
