Wedding bells are ringing for Bailey Jean Cypheridge and Jocelyn Simone Rhude!

On Sept. 5, Melissa Etheridge‘s eldest daughter, Bailey, wed Jocelyn in front of 160 loved ones at the B.R. Cohn Winery in Sonoma, Calif. — with the festivities capped off by a signature Etheridge-style “big ass concert.”

“I’m so excited to celebrate our love for each other,” Bailey told PEOPLE ahead of the couple’s nuptials.” We are so lucky to have this special moment and to have our family and friends there to support us.”

The pair envisioned a “winery wedding” featuring their own “music festival” put on by family and friends, and kept that in mind when choosing the venue for their big day. They eventually found the Sonoma winery, which also has ties to their history as its the same spot where Jocelyn had her 8th grade graduation and where Etheridge performed in 2014.

“This place has a magical musical energy,” Jocelyn tells PEOPLE. “The winery’s founder managed the Doobie Brothers, so music has always been part of its history and influence. They even have a stage with the vineyards as the backdrop. The second Bailey and I saw it, we knew the stage was made for our ceremony and our wedding concert.”

While Bailey says that her non-negotiable for the wedding was a concert — in true Etheridge fashion — Jocelyn adds that she wanted their “fashion, tablescapes, flowers, and overall energy” to “look like us.” The couple also noted that they wanted to hire “100% female and queer vendors.”

“I just wanted to marry the love of my life and throw a little party with our closest friends and family,” says Jocelyn. “For me, it was all about live music, fancy shoes & shades, beautiful food all night so we are never hungry, natural & local wines, and LOTS of dancing.”

The couple kicked off their wedding weekend on Thursday, Sept. 4 with a rehearsal dinner at Scribe Winery — a place the couple chose because they “adored” their “property and ethos.” The pair welcomed their guests in matching gold knit outfits by Armani.

On the day of the big event, the pair also wore custom Armani — with the help of their stylist Chloe Badawy. Jocelyn opted for an Armani Made to Measure suit, while Bailey chose a crystal mesh cape from the Giorgio Armani Fall 2025 runway. The couple tells PEOPLE that when choosing their clothes, they wanted it to “feel personal and make us our most confident, best, most gorgeous selves on our wedding weekend.”

The “Breathe” singer, 64, walked her daughter down the aisle, and a family friend, Robbie Young, who works in the Napa County Courthouse, officiated the couple’s ceremony.

“We kept it pretty true to us, but we included a few traditions like exchanging rings, a big family-style dinner, and of course a dance party,” says Jocelyn. “Music felt like our real tradition,”

Before the ceremony, Bailey and Jocelyn exchanged vows in private ahead of the ceremony “just for one another.”

“Those unique words of lifelong commitment belonged only to us,” says Jocelyn.

Following the exchange of “I do’s” they celebrated with guests at the reception, where the dinner and cocktails were curated by Emma Lipp, a co-owner and chef at Valley Bar and Bottle, one of the couple’s favorite restaurants. The servings were inspired by Mexico City — a place that they wanted to evoke with the food and the vibes.

As they dined, they were serenaded by close family and friends, including Etheridge, who Bailey says “performed a few songs”— including one that has not yet been released. She noted that her mother had written the song for them and plans to release it on her next album.

“We got to hear the song beforehand! It was beautiful to hear it live, we passed out tissues,” Jocelyn said of the heartfelt song.

There were also performances from Molly Sides (Thunderpussy), Jon Arckey, Toby Rand, Jessa Graves (J. Graves), Jenny Goggin, Felix & Sloane Lenz (Lord Friday the 13th), Marty O’Reilly, Sutro and Kia Warren & Liza Colby (SUSU), who performed a live cover of “Unchained Melody” by The Righteous Brothers, which they had their first dance to.

“Music is very important to both of us so we were so proud and excited to throw this concert,” says Bailey. “I have many musicians in my family and Jocelyn works in the music industry as well. We’re super grateful to our friends and family for making this happen for us.”

The event then transitioned into a dance party where the couple switched up their wardrobe into their final looks of the night. Jocelyn changed into Armani & Prada, while Bailey wore Vivienne Westwood to dance to the live music at the venue.

The newlyweds then capped off the wedding weekend with a farewell lunch at Valley Swim Club on Saturday, Sept. 6, to connect with all their guests before they departed.

Reflecting on their wedding weekend, Bailey tells PEOPLE, “It meant a lot to us to get married, especially during this time. We’re really grateful.”

Jocelyn proposed to Bailey on June 17, 2024 at Ruffian, one of their favorite wine spots in the East Village, New York. The location is one they hold dear to their hearts as it was where they exchanged “I love you’s” for the first time. Bailey announced her engagement in a joint Instagram post alongside photos, writing, “Fiancés!!!!!!”

“I met her, I fell in love, and I knew we could do it all together, the highs and the lows,” says Jocelyn. “I get to walk through this life with her by my side. Getting married means I’m all in.”

Now that the pair are married, Jocelyn says she’s most looking forward to waking up next to her new wife and starting “adventures every day.” She adds, “We get to do this life as a team and take it as it comes! But mostly, I couldn’t wait to introduce her as ‘my wife’ to everyone.”
