ATLANTA— Delta Air Lines (DL) has confirmed plans to launch nonstop flights between Atlanta (ATL) and Riyadh (RUH), marking its first direct connection to Saudi Arabia. The route forms part of the carrier’s broader strategic partnership with Riyadh Air (RX), announced earlier in 2024.

Delta CEO Ed Bastian stated that the service will begin in the fall, likely in 2026, operated by an Airbus A350. The move strengthens Delta’s Middle East presence while supporting Saudi Arabia’s push to expand global air connectivity.
